This blog is comatose again (seriously girl, where did your immunity go? And my blog is a girl? Okay yup) but I can't bring myself to delete all the memories.

Memories of snark, spite and school.

I actually came back and read through every single blog entry I posted since 2007. And boy was I shocked! It's hard to believe how immature and rude I was last time in the virtual world. Really, Cheryl? Really?

I'm sorry for my behaviour (ﾉ_-｡) Sincerely. Because all I want to do right now is buy a cane and then build a time machine.

There are lot of regrets that I have, especially with the way I was last time. The immature me tried too hard to make my blog posts funny, but a lot of the things I wrote suddenly seem so snarky to me. Snark isn't what I should use to make me seem funny! Because anyway, we all know I'm naturally...don't think you want me to complete that sentence.

SO before I continue rambling to thin air (because my blog readers have disappeared boohoo), here's a tip off for those who actually came back to visit. Either you care or you're just really bored. Or you're the spam bot that has been heroically filling up my dying tagboard.

The truth is, only my online friends (and a very small number of real life friends) know about this blog. And, well, my online personality. In real life, I can be pretty invisible because I'm not good at speaking. I can talk, but I can't speak. There's a difference.

Online I can be someone that is so hard to be in reality. But essentially I'm still the same; I want to make friends, I want to speak, I want to crack jokes, I want to dance, I want to share my photos. It's only online that I can do that without shame or pressure.

Getting sappier and sappier. Well, that's really all I want to show (´▽｀) This is the only place I'm showing these links to anyone who comes here. It's not like anyone actually comes to this blog anymore anyway (how many anys can we get?!), so I don't need to worry much about 'blowing my cover'. There are some people that I would never want to show these to, but thankfully they probably never knew this blog existed.

And no, I didn't tell anyone that I posted this! So basically, I'm still ranting to myself.

I don't think I will be posting here anymore, but I'll always come back to read it. In 5 years, you can harvest a lifetime of memories! All the photos, all the friends, all the conversations (all the snark sob), they're things that can't be replaced.

without realising it, i left my blog to wither for a month. again.


i've been racing with time and it kept kicking my ass all over the place. sec 4 life is no joke. of course i shouldn't really be saying this when i haven't even reached adulthood yet. which is why i want as lazy a career as possible. (just kidding - i think)

last week my mom went off to germany, and at home things were all PARTYIN PARTYIN YEAH! a little sloppy. because, well, you know, a home just can't be the same without the mama to push things along a little. which is why i'm totally gonna become one when i grow up. yeah, i'd love to be the numero uno of the household.

i admit the house did get a little trashed. and by trash i mean we didn't empty the dustbin and nor did we bother to distinguish the difference between a kitchen dustbin and a dry dustbin. but i won't admit that the cockroach that attended my mom's homecoming was due to our negligence because it just had really bad timing.

that put aside, i had an amazing week! mostly because the first week of school is always indolent and lackadaisical. that, and there was SPORTS DAY! okay, so i didn't actually get excited about the sports part, but the cheer competition was FUN FUN FUN FUN fun! now i know why the house comm is always the one enjoying. there's just a different feeling when you're up and cheering instead of being squished into a compressed sea of green people.

the best part of all was doing my flicks during the dance. i might be making a big deal out of it, but considering i'm semi-retired and i don't usually do skills on the hard ground, it was a heck of a lot of fun.
because for that moment, it really felt like i could do anything.
(of course the moment school started again this feeling vaporized)

as part of my Active Blog Campaign, i will be doing further maintenance for this blog in an attempt to spruce it up a little.

i guess i had fun. kuishin bo (and my brother's birthday) yesterday, kbox today! and then school tomorrow...with a maths and maths back to back, yey. i love mondays, don't you? :)

after church today i went to kbox with onii, and sang my throat dry. i wasn't really surprised at the meagre selection of H!P songs, i'm just glad there were at least some.

3 2L photocard sets at 500yen each. not bad. and i asked for a mai L set from the H!P store too. i love the feeling when i buy something new and shiny.

yesterday i went to bugis to pass infzer0 the money, went to the money changer and got told i couldn't buy yen. i thought the point of a money changer was to change currencies. but oh well...in the end i just gave infzer0 SGD and he said he'll change it for me! thank you.

as it is, before that denise happened to be nearby at a museum ( don't know why but yeah ) so i met her while waiting and we looked for esther's birthday present. i got something different than the cliche soft toy...but on the other hand maybe she'd prefer the soft toy. time will tell.

bugis just put in new purikura machines and replaced love joker and kiragirl, and they're so much better. i tried out beauty plus with denise and it's an upgraded kiragirl and even brighter, if possible.

and i bought a new rilakkuma cover too.

technology is really zooming by faster and faster.
society is becoming quicker to adapt, and all we do now is look down on the obsolete junk of the past.

for every phone i've had in my life, i always thought it was the coolest and latest thing the first time i got it. and then six months later, they produced an upgrade slimmer and better than what i thought was possible.

is it possible that now, the state of modern mobile phones is at its pinnacle? definitely not. the iPhone is a prime example of the phone of today, but no doubt Old Man Jobs will continue to keep polishing the gold, refitting it with what is left of his imagination.

( seriously, what else can you add to the iPhone? a hologram interceptor? )

anyway. now for the real bit.

you were the only phone in my life that i've ever wanted so badly. so much that i installed a countdown counter to the release ( april 29, ho-hum ) and asked my dad outright for it. no hints, no nothing. and then you were the only phone that really had life, and the cutest interface i'd ever seen.

seriously, a pink phone?

i'd hardly even seen a pink phone before, much less want to own one.
( i used to have an aversion to girly colours )

but now i've booted you out in favour of the iPhone. and honestly? i didn't want the iPhone that badly that i'd fight tooth and nail to get it. ( it's an amazing phone though )

i'm sorry!

we only had eight months together, and now you've been reduced to a back up phone. or worse, sold away.

i think a lot of people agree that the lollipop's a really special phone. right?!
though the anti-girly people all shrink away in repulsion at the pink monstrosity flashing before them.

but a christmas gift is a christmas gift.

and call me retarded for writing a eulogy letter to my phone, but a mobile phone's an absolutely necessary and important everyday device. it's gotta be special.

also, this is nothing but the fine art of personification, so suck on that.

hope everyone enjoyed the day.

i just finished cleaning up, there's tons of sushi and stains left.

anyway, as you can probably tell...i'm back from europe. it was amazing in a really freezing sort of way, and i'm happy i got the chance to go. still, i am never going back there.

only because people like me have an aversion to fattening food but still eat it because vacation is a time for no boundaries.

this is why i always want to go to japan...i can never grow fat on rice and because it is the Land of My Dreams.

here's hoping for next year!
